A.S., Angelina College
Kathy was born and raised in northeast Arkansas. She discovered early on that learning and teaching were a central part of her life. She moved to Texas in 1979 and has built a long and meaningful career in education, teaching at several schools before retiring. However, retirement didn’t last long. Her love for the classroom brought her back into education and she spent 5 wonderful years at St. Patrick Catholic School. She now brings her experience, creativity, and enthusiasm to Christ Episcopal School, where she continues to inspire students to explore everyday life.
She is a proud graduate of Angelina College and Stephen F. Austin University. She enjoys a happy and fulfilling life outside the classroom. She loves to travel, read, craft, and spend time with family and friends. At home, she is happily kept company by her beloved Shih Tzu, Biscuit. Her journey through life reflects her passion for education, commitment to students and a firm belief that learning is a lifelong adventure.
