Christ Episcopal School cherishes its history of providing an excellent education in a Christian family atmosphere. CES strives to impart the best in education to its students by relying on its well developed curriculum and programs and independent administration.

Since CES operates completely independent from outside decision makers and agencies; it also operates financially independently. All funds for the school must come from within the CES community.

As in most independent schools, tuition provides the bulk of income to to the operating budget. However to keep tuition levels low and competitive, CES must actively raise funds by other means. Tax deductible gifts of cash, securities, and property boost annual income for the school and increase investment opportunities for programs and growth and are greatly appreciated.

Annual Giving

Annual Giving is the foundation of all fundraising at CES. Annual Giving gifts are tax-deductible and are unrestricted so they can be used where they are needed the most. Every dollar given to Annual Giving is used immediately to maintain excellence, by meeting the school's most important needs and opportunities. You can make a gift or pledge of cash, stocks and bonds, insurance and/or property. All gifts are greatly appreciated and reflect your commitment to CES. Annual Benefit Auction

The CES Annual Benefit Auction has been a school tradition since 1985 and is a major fundraising event for CES. The auction is a great community building event and offers many volunteer opportunities where parents have fun working together to achieve a common goal. The 24th annual CES Auction was held on Saturday, March 1, 2008.

The auction committee needs and appreciates all kinds of help from the CES community. No matter how much or how little help you can give, all is appreciated! Here are some ways you can help:

• Volunteer! Contact the auction chairman

• Donate an item or serve to be auctioned

• Ask friends, family members or businesses to make donations

• Advertise in the auction catalog

• Underwrite certain expenses relating to the night

• Become an auction patron

• Make a cash contribution

• Come to the auction and have a great time!

Ways to Help

The Easy Fundraiser Programs provide an opportunity for CES to earn money and products without having to sell anything. Just by recycling or collecting things you would normally throw out or by showing a card when you shop you can help our school earn money.

• Inkjet Cartridge Recycling - CES receives $3.00 for every every inkjet cartridge sent in for recycling

• Box Tops for Education - CES receives 10¢ for every General Mills box top sent in.  

• Cellphone recycling - CES receives as much as $100.00 or as little as $3.00 for each cell phone sent in for recycling.  

• Kroger Card - CES receives 1 % of grocery purchases when a CES Kroger card is scanned at purchase
  

• Labels for Education - CES earns points for a wide variety of Campbell's products with redeemable labels  

• TARGET Visa and TARGET rewards card -CES earns 1% of purchases from Target and ½% from other stores by using a Target VISA or Rewards card  
  

• Office Depot - CES earns 5% of qualifying purchases, this money can be used to purchase school supplies. Our school id # is 70099709.
